Hastelloy C276 Flange can be defined as a method which helps in connecting pipes, valves, and various other equipment that helps to form the piping system. UNS N10276 Flanges are very functional and they offer easy access when it comes to inspecting, cleaning or modifying the pipe. The flanged joints are usually made by bolting two flanges with a gasket between them. This helps in increasing the strength of the pipe seal.

UNS N10276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with universal corrosion resistance unmatched by any other alloy. JIS NW 0276 has outstanding resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments including ferric and cupric chlorides, hot contaminated mineral acids, solvents, chlorine and chlorine contaminated (both organic and inorganic), dry chlorine, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, sea water and brine solutions and hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions. WERKSTOFF NR. 2.4819 also resists formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat affected zone making it useful for most chemical processes in the as-welded condition. Alloy C276 has excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking.
